This painting was a little bit of an experiment using a more abstract technique in Acrylic paint and painting lots of swirls within swirls and creating an image of deeper water currents coming into the shallows, rippling around pebbles and to bring it to life , I added texture in the form of sea washed glass and shingle.
Overall i was quite happy with the result and by adding a duck egg blue frame set within a larger white frame was able to bring out the blue tones and guide the eye towards the colours I wanted to stand out and an added bonus as the sun hits the painting the shadows move around the shingle and glass changing the painting through out the day.
