I used a very limited palet of about 5 colours to achieve this piece, by applying a very pale Lemon yellow mixed with white , it gives the illusion of a much brighter sunset. there is very little pure white but where it’s used on the crests of the waves, it looks alot sharper against the pink and lemon, the marin grass adds contrast but was a bit of a dilema whether i put it in or not, looked lovely without it too.
